Bulb/tuber storage

in Plants
For the past few years, I've put my potted Dahlia's and Calla Lilly's in the greenhouse, still in their pots/soil. This has worked well, but advice is always to store in a cool/dry place, and although the green house is dry and unheated, it can frequently get warm on sunny, Winter days. Would it be better if I put the pots in the shed?

You know when you already know the answer to something, but you just need that little bit of reassurance?
I've done very similar to what you do and it's worked for me too ... just keep an eye out for slugs in the spring as the dahlia shoots start emerging from the soil ... sometimes it's not just tubers that've been overwintering in that pot
