Can I make new plants?
in Plants
Hi, I am just about to clear my New Guinea impatiens and wondering if I could overwinter them and propagate new plants from them in spring. Or could I root cuttings now and over winter them...or should I just bin them? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Cut some shoots and put them in a jamjar of water on the kitchen windowsill ... they'll grow roots and you can pot them up and get them growing indoors over the winter ... by the time the frosts are over you'll have some lovely plants. I did that last year

Thank you. Lots of cuttings taken and lining my window sills.
