Rhubarb Yellow/Brown leaves

A new leaf grows then it get brown patches or goes yellow and dies. i have watered less and watered more does help.
HELP!!

It looks to me like something has been munching on the leaves - snails or slugs maybe.
You have done well to keep it growing as long as this.
It is autumn...it is perfectly normal for the whole plant to wilt and vanish over the winter.
It will reappear next spring.
In dry summers it can vanish long before November.
A good mulch on top will help next spring...compost/rotted horse manure if you can get it.
In dry weather water a lot not just a dribble.

I'm not sure how well Rhubarb will do in a pot that size- if you want to harvest it- they need quite large roots for that. The damage looks more like caterpillar than slug to me. I've only known slugs to eat new leaves but that doesn't mean they don't eat larger ones! Either way it doesn't look like anything to worry about (just protect the new shoots when it comes up next year).
