Trailing Geranium

I have 3 wall mounted mangers with trailing geraniums in, still in bloom. Last year i cut them back and removed them from the manger until ready to plant this year, but the blooms had about finished at this time last year. Can you advise as to whether i do the same despite them being in bloom, or should i leave them, they have about 2 foot growth on them and 2 mangers are on a North west facing wall, and another is on a south facing wall.

Thank you for that Mike .I will reduce advise
pelargoniums don’t over winter here in my garden in Devon, they will go to a mush as soon as the weather turns wet and cold, you can either bring the whole trough in the green house, or take the plants out pot them up and over winter somewhere cool.
Would it be too late to take cuttings from geraniums now .
I have taken some cuttings. The leaf cuttings I tried for first time have died off.I will try some more just in case but maybe too late
Wet cold is the killer for them here too. It does far more damage to pelargoniums than frosts, unless they get well below zero temps for a while.
I've just brought mine under cover and will take cuttings soon. You can really take them any time. They're quite easy. Good gritty medium, and don't water very often. Keep them on the dry side over winter in a light position
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Many thanks job for the weekend .
Thanks for that Fairygirl.I will heed your advice.
