Late spray chrysanths

Hi all

I have about 1 doz. late flowering  spray chrysanths. They are planted in the garden.Should I dig them up and protect them for the winter and take cuttings in the spring? or leave in the soil and cover. I did not stop them at all, they did their own thing.

    Thanks for that Mike, I will give it a go, maybe mulch over the plants too.
