Please help our Prunus.

Anyone any ideas what happening?

We purchased the prunus (Portugese Laurierkers) in June and placed at front of house against a wall. We followed the label and placed it in well drained pot and in sunlight.

leaves started falling off after about 6 weeks and It's steadily got worse since. We have just moved it to rear of house (where photos were taken today).

    The shrub looks quite mature. They will be very tricky to grow from a container. Your pot looks too small for the shrub size. Also, it's very likely you may have to water it a lot during the growing season. These shrubs are usually grown in the ground.

    To allow it to recover, I think you will need to prune it down by half of its height so the shrub can bush out again. It will unlikely improve at that height. Water the plant generously after that and check it is grown in loam-based compost if you hadn't re-potted since you bought it.
