I found this lurking in a bit of wasteland next to my garden. It’s a large round bush perhaps 15 to 20 foot in diameter. Can someone tell me if it’s Laurel? (its Growing well in Glasgow so it’s definitely hardy!).
Many thanks
Definitely Prunus laurocerasus cherry laurel. A plant which I find OK when growing on its own, but I hate a hedge made of it.
Haha , very good Micro-kid. Yes it is a cherry laurel, and can take a hard prune if it's getting too big for it's boots.

Many thanks Papi Jo and Kitty 2 for the quick answers ?
It roots very easily if you want to do cuttings, or leave it on the ground after pruning and it will root.
