Spring Flowers!?

Last Autumn I had Foxgloves flowering well into November and one managed to survive into December.

No flowering Foxgloves this Autumn but I have two Wild Primroses flowering today.

Do you have any Spring bulbs or flowers flowering now?

I haven't got any spring plants flowering now but did see some primrose today flowering in someone else garden.

The odd primrose and wallflower now. Nigella all year, but the summer ones are very small -much nicer, I think. Indoor cyclamen flowering like mad - are they spring flowers? I don't know. But I'm just enjoying them

Leaves of some horrible irises keep popping up this time of year so I pull them out as soon as I see them.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

My primulas flower all year round, and I have a Hellebore which often flowers a lot of the year. Some Pasqueflowers are opening here and there. (Harebells and sweet peas are still flowering)   Nothing unusual though - that's pretty normal for here. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • My primroses have been flowering for about a month.  They were the first plant I put into the garden when i moved in back in February and I didn't realise they would come back at all.

  • I also have a lovely Primula japonica in flower - just like you NewGardenjacq mine was planted this year in a new garden and flowered in about May - now one of the plants brought from previous garden flowering again.

  • Buttercups in a field nearby.imageWe have roses flowering for the 3rd time this year in our garden.
