Sickly yellow autumn bedding

We potted on the plugs into JI no. 2 to grow on for bedding. Good healthy plants are now quite well grown but are a sickly yellow colour. They have not been over watered but we have fed them with a high potash feed in the hope that would cure the problem. Next step the compost heap! Could anyone suggest what we can do? I should point out that the pansies and wallflowers on the same regime are fabulous plants.
