Help identify

Dear all,

can anyone help me to identify this?

It appeared on my lawn overnight, and I now have many patches ranging in size from the initial patch that was approx 30x40 cm, to small patches of 5cm..it seems to change/ die off? over time..

It is a new turf, and we have woodland behind us. But it has not appeared on my neighbors lawn, which are in very close proximity to us.

I would like help to identify, and suggestions for removal.

many thanks in advance.

don’t worry it’s just a fungus, it will disappear without doing any damage.

think it’s called white slime fungus.

Dog's Vomit fungus, which is not a fungus but rather a slime mould. It will go as quickly as it came.
