Hello everyone!

I'm new on here. I was wondering if someone could help by telling me what 2 plants are that I have in my garden?

One I think is a type of daisy? The other I have no idea.

Pictures attached.

Thank you...

    Hi Graeme image

Sometimes photos won't upload if they're too large ... try reducing the size ...

Thanks Dovefromabove, hopefully that's them visible now...

  • First photo is a delphinium and second is one of the daisy family, possibly ox-eye daisy.  Both are a bit late in flowering so would guess are new plants?

  • first one is a delphinium the second one is a  leucanthmum.

    Hi guys, thanks a lot!

they were both in pots for a few years, I built sone raised beds this year and moved them over, the leucanthmum has grew to about 5 times the size it was when planted but only started to look like flowering over the last month.

The delphinium never had any flowers on it last year, is that normal to miss a season?

  • Slugs like delphiniums so maybe they got to it.

    usually will flower every year.

  • Delphiniums don't do very well in pots so it's likely much happier now and is telling you by throwing up a flower spike. image  They should  both flower in summer next year.
