I have been told that the seed to this plant came from Israel but I have no idea what it is!

Just seen your thread regarding ID of your plant ; coming from Israel doesn't mean it's endemic to Israel ; maybe an introduced cultivated plant .
From what I can see from your pictures , it may be one of the Zanthoxylum species .
Has no-one else any ideas ? I maybe wrong here , but might be worth a look at ?
