Aphids?

Are these Aphids? If so what should I do to get rid of them?image

    I can't see the pic clearly, but it looks more like whitefly. 

    Usually, lack of good ventilation round the plant encourages them. Are the plants inside or out?

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • They are outside plants, and the pansies next to them have bugs on them as well I'll get a picture of those when I get home, the bugs are bigger on the pansies.

    A good hosing down usually gets rid of aphids, if that's what you have. Most of these small insects can be disposed of that way.

    A pic of the wider area would help too, but if plants are crowded together, that tends to encourage more pests. If plants are healthy, they tend to shrug of pests more easily  though, so good airflow round them is beneficial, and unless you have a serious infestation, they won't do too much damage.image

  • I will definitely spread them out more now, I only took close up pictures sorry but here is what the pansy looks like:( I got them too early, I live in Texas so I think it was too hot for them and my chrisantham
