You have spurred me on to try with a more expectation of success O. They aren't cheap to buy over here and I am eager to get on with the job. I usually prune my roses now and again after the winter, although with it usually being milder here than in the U.K. our roses tend to start into growth by February and I sometimes miss the second prunning by leaving it too late, I don't like prunning the new growth.
