Wish me luck

I have a 3/4 year old ceanothus 'southmead' that was originally planted in the middle of a border.

I love the flowers but the location was annoying me (my bad!).  I bit the bullet today and ripped it out and replanted against a wall.

It looks great there but I understand that they are not the biggest fans of being transplanted.  Fingers crossed.

image Good luck with the transplant.

I once moved a very old Rosemary with hardly any root when I dug it up,10 years later and it is still going strong!

  • Thanks MP.  I did manage to get a good chunk of the rootball so that is on my side.  Only wish I had some grit to hand - I'm on pretty heavy clay so could have done with some improved drainage.
