Acid Soil

Hi all. A 'newbie' here.

I frequently chop up a Lemon and scatter it over the garden to deter cats from doing their business.

This does seem to work but what is worrying me, would this act make my soil more acidic?

    Unless you're dumping barrowloads of peel every day, I'd not worry about it. image

    Does it work on the cats? I would think the acid will break down naturally anyway before it causes any lowering of ph
