I was given a flamingo flower for my birthday a few months ago. I followed the instructions that came with it but now it has died back to just a few leaves. Is this normal and will it grow back eventually?

Could you post a picture of it ? Ive looked up flamingo flower and it comes up as Anthirium, without knowing for sure if this is the right plant we cannot give you secure advice.
It only says flamingo flower on the label
