Yellow patchy lawn
Help!
we were cuttinng the lawn too short over summer and burt it all.
we scarified at the weekend and most of the last lawn was thatch. Still loads left but the issue is... do we overseed now answer forget using ever green autumn 2in1 (as you come cant apply this within 3 months of over seeding. Or do we fed the grass and prepare it for winter.
ideally it needs areating but there is hardly any soil under the grass and it’s too tough.
Any idea as it’s not a good time of year to fit overseeding , feeding and top dressing in?

Wait for Spring. The reason I never have scarified is because the lawn ends up looking aweful till the grass grows.
Yours should be ok, just think how nice and green now air , feed, and water can get to the roots...lucky you...
Mine looked just the same after scarifying last autumn. I think it'll begin to green up soon ... I'd give it a little autumn feed (seaweed powder maybe) and leave it until the spring to do anything more.

Winter rain will help....

I would give it liquid feed with a seaweed extract the water will help & the iron in the seaweed will green up the grass and toughen it up for winter.
