I have a plant in very large pot it's a climber I think tons of yellow flowers like a small trumpet , its also started to produce beans hangingbfrom it , a friend said I must remove the beans or it won't flower , is this true .

Did your friend know what plant it is? Difficult to advise on the unknown. A photo would help.
