Orange spot that is killing my trees

Hi I have a well established garden with massive trees and something is killing them. The local shop has recommended Buxus Blight Buster spray but it wont be effective on a large garden. An arborist said cut the effected trees out. It is on so many varieties and killing them one branch at a time. Any other options out there???

Wow many MANY thanks for your indepth reply Yes i live in Wanaka New Zealand. The sad thing is i am lopping the effected branches and spraying then disinfecting tools but is now all throughtout my 5 acre garden. Very sad for me and the nz specialist are just saying spray. But nothing they are giving me is working. Very sad!
