Has anyone used bagged chicken manure compost bought from Home Depot or a similar store. My husband warned me not to use it in the flower beds because it is too hot, too high in nitrogen and will burn the plants.
look on the container . I should have a panel with NPK written on it. That'll tell you the "strength"
If it's the pelleted chicken manure , it's pretty low in nutrients.
