What are these please?

Hello 

I was told that these were Damsons but it is now October and they are still green. Some are now starting to rot so I don't want to waste the rest if I can use them for jam or similar.

    Really do look like Greengage. They make the most fantastic Jam. Ours were ready weeks ago.
