Seed pod plant ID

Hi everyone.

I wonder if it is possible to ID the attached seed pods and the plant they are from?

    They look like the seed heads from a Phormium ( New Zealand flax)

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
