I think your 3 pronged pointy thing is called a cultivator PP. I don't need a wheelbarrow cos OH is one of my tools. Do your shredder and chainsaw require fuel? Might be a problem.

Assuming this desert island is fit to grow crops for which we need gardening tools it will, surely, have things we can forage and seeds we can collect to grow stuff to eat.......... Or do we need to smuggle seeds in our cozzies?

I didn't know what an AK47 was so I looked it up, it's a Kalashnikov rifle. Think I'd rather not use one on the island! Fish and fruits will have to do. If it was just favourite gardening tools that PP wanted to know about then they are my trowel, trug and kneeler. I'm not much good with a hoe.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Obes you're absolutely correct. I looked it up. I found one in the garden when I moved to this house and promptly rushed out and bought another for when I lost the first. Good job I did too! I have the WG one for my WG stick but it's useless.
Hoeing for me is fine in big spaces I need to clear, such as a veggie bed before sowing or planting but I'm not so good when I have to be careful round plants. Nor is OH which is why I took to planting all clematis with a terracotta pot, bottom bashed out, inverted over the base of the stems t provide a decapitation proof collar.
We both get on very well with the Wolf push-me pull-you hoe head and also their bigger cultivator head but I prefer to use the small one with a short handle as a hand tool for close-up viewing of what I'm dealing with in case of baby treasures.
If there's going to be magic fuel for power tools, can we have a magic hut builder too?

I assumed the 'desert island' was meant in the usual sense of these things and not literally, so if I only had the choice of 3 tools to use in the garden I would choose a border fork, a hand trowel and secateurs as I use only those for 99% of my gardening work.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Slightly disturbed thay you have an AK47
I just thought that gardening was not going to be very productive, at least for a while and that my tools would enable me to live.

There'll be magic fuel for all power tools.

What we really need is a lovely sailing ship with beds and stocked up with provisions, at that rate!
That would be lovely but PP said it sank!
