my asters wont flower

It is nearly October and although my asters are covered in buds they are not flowering. I have given them a feed but still no flowers. Some have a bit of mildew but in previous years this hasnt stopped them flowering. The plants are 3 years old.

Same here.....mine are full of buds and just about beginning to open. A nice bit of late colour.
