The easiest way I've found to wrap up for winter, thanks to Monty Don, is wrap the top 6ins of the trunk with several layers of fleece. I've then stuffed this with dead grass or plenty of straw. Also piled plenty of grass/straw down into crown, covered this with fleece and a stone so it doesn't blow away. Been successful so far. Good luck
I bought a tree fern which hasn't got a trunk but what do I do to overwinter it, can I take it indoors and keep it slightly moist (my house will have central heating on by time the temp goes down outside. I don't have a garden shed.

Thankyou so much for your answer, I will certainly refrain from feeding for a while, hope I get it through the winter first 🤞🏻
