  • Thanks to this thread, it hasn't prompted me that I need to get an Ivy plant.

My husband once bought me flowers that were dyed and I was not impressed, I love a natural flower not dyed.

I have to admit I don't like Passion Flowerimage its my neighbours plant but I let it grow into our garden because the bees love it.

I have the varigated vinca that is fairly controllable . There are far worse plants. The "creeping violet" whose roots form such tight mats of roots they are very difficult  to dig out.

I left them alone one year. Never again. I will try whatever it takes to get rid of them .

I also have a variegated vinca. It is reasonably well behaved - unlike its evil twinimage

    In London. Keen but lazy.
