Silver surfer, no. 3 has leathery leaves and 'feels' like it will be evergreen. He only moved in in late July, so time will tell. Both no. 3 and no. 5 (especially 3) are heavily overgrown by other trees and shrubs (mainly conifers) so both are very leggy with just the odd green bit poking out through the other growth. So there's no typical whole plant habit to see really.

I thought No 7 was Lysimachia punctata too
Although the leaves look a bit yellow, I am wondering if No 5 could be Forsythia?

3. I am not seeing this as an evergreen .Is it evergreen?
A pic showing the whole plant, growth habit might help.
Next year when they flower it will be obvious what most of them are.
