Hi, Can anyone identify this plant which has appeared at the back of my garden?.
Can't work out if it is a weed or not. It stand about 3 foot tall has spear-like flower heads which have not bloomed yet.
Reminds me of one of the wild Artemisias
Artemisia vulgaris ? I think it's called Mugwort or Wormwood ?
Not sure it is. I have just looked this up and it doesn't look the same.
I think it is an Artemisia but not sure which one. What part of the world are you in Phil?
Centre of England, a village named MERIDEN, close to Coventry and Birmingham.
After further investigation, I think it is probably Mugwort and is apparently invasive, so its gotta go I'm afraid!.
