  • I think we can make them wider, I was a bit worried they were a bit small as we need to take in account of the underlay and liner.

    That's right, and if they are narrow the pots, when planted can tip off. I learned that from experience?

    That's nice for an ornamental pond DR,  mines a wildlife pond, I want the grasses to grow right to the edge and into the pond.

    Depends on what you want it to look like, yours wouldn't suit my wild garden, looks lovely in yours though.

  • Thank you Doghouse Riley for your reply but I don't really want to construct it out of cement, I know that this can help with the durability of the pond but prefer to do it with just the pond liner and underlay.

    Hopefully will be ordering the liner etc this weekend image

    Just one more little tip, make it as big as you can get it, or afford, whatever size you choose now, you’ll always want a bigger one.?
