Apart from the rotted manure dumped at the bottom of the hole, I don’t think you should be too concerned about the appearance of the tree since it’s now into autumn and young trees are always the earliest to lose their leaves.
Do as Treehugger80 suggests and no special treatment needed. Don’t over nourish it with loads of rotted manure. Just mix a bit of compost with surrounding soil. Water generously until temperatures start to really dip. Stake well away from the roots in a diagonal angle if it’s a pot grown tree. These trees are tough trees.
Another good tip is to make the hole square rather than round so that when the roots hit the "wall" of undug soil they go through it and spread rather than carrying on round and round. make sure you tease them out to encourage spreading rather than vortexing.
