yellowing Bisetti bamboo

help! my bamboo was delivered a few weeks ago looking healthy. I planted it into plastic containers with drainage holes at the bottom. However over the last few days I've noticed it is going really yellow. It is in a windy location however I was told that it was suitable for it's location. What am I doing wrong?
