What lubricant for electric hedge cutter?
I am using 3 in 1 oil for my electric hedge trimmer which cleans and oils the blades very well but I am a little concerned that 3 in 1 may harm hedge's especially as there seems to be a disease around that is killing conifers (I believe it's a fungal disease and I call it Red Conifer Disease because the dead parts turn red). I have read online that a Lanolin lubricant is safe for plants (although quite expensive). Is 3 in 1 oil safe to use or should I be using something else?

I've used 3 in 1 and WD40 over the years with no obvious ill effect on any garden plants.
A can of WD40 will change your life.
