Would a east facing border be ok for pear trees? And do you have any recommendations on which variety i should be looking to buy.

I have an espalier Concorde pear in a sheltered East facing position and it's doing very well.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
