Can I move a sumbuca., black lace. Its been in about 1yr but is too tall in current position. Is I can should I cut it back first and when should I think of moving it. Any advice gratefully accepted.

They're pretty tough. I would give it a prune to reduce the top growth and shape it as needed, and move it during its dormancy. You could probably get away with it now, as the weather is getting cooler and damper as we go into autumn. I don't think you would necessarily need to cut it right down, but if you are planning to do so anyway, do that.
