Viola & Pansies what do I do

KiliKili Posts: 1,104

Hi all, hoping I can benefit from your expertise. I planted some viola and pansy seed earlier in the summer and there getting bigger. I'm not sure what to do with them now. If you look at the photo can you advise if there ready for potting on.If so do I pot them on into small pots and leave them outside or should I keep them in a cold frame or my greenhouse?

Many Thanks for all your help.

I like to wait until they are double that size, then pot up and keep in the cold greenhouse or cold frame over winter.

Thanks Lyn. I'll stick em back in the coldframe until they double in size and then pot them on image
