Corydalis - as per Monty last night
brilliant episode of gardeners world last night. Inspired me to plant a corydalis. I've phoned twelve garden centre / nurseries so far and not one has any.
is it a specialist plant? not keen on buying one online as wanted to get stuck in today.

Not a specialist - I bought it for the last garden - but GCs often only stock it in the spring when it is in flower. I think its normally sold in amongst the alpine plants, but I could be wrong
Happy hunting

I haven't used any of these suppliers but I usually have great success with plants form ebay. They have to get it right or the negative feedback comes thick and fast!
I have bought these in the past and lost them same season. They prefer acidic peaty soil. Garden centres have loads in flower in the spring to catch the unwary. The colour is gorgeous.
Thanks for the replies, and ebay link.
Pearsons Nursery in Collingham is going to look out for some for me. Great service.
