Too good to be true?

in Fruit & veg
Has anyone ever brought from Groupon? Seems like a good offer but not much info on specific variaties? Also are there any issues with transferring established plants from pot to soil i should be worried about?

You will pay £11.for three plants, bear in mind the pots they are in are less than four inches across.
if you don't mind that, that's ok, the trouble you may get transferring them to the ground is that if you haven't got very acid soil, they will die.
You will need to keep them in pots, water with rainwater and feed with Ericaceous feed.
its always best, or essential that you have other plants, one on its own won't produce much fruit, it any.

I bought 6x fruit trees from Groupon a few years ago and they're still going strong
Sounds good, always dubious buying without seeing with this sort of thing
I think that sounds expensive - bearing in mind the size of the plants. It'll be along time before they're going to give you much of a return. 'An established plant in a 9cm pot' is a slight contradiction in terms. 9cm is a very small pot, and those are very immature plants.
They could also look very different from the photos you're seeing.
I'd be very wary of that kind of offer, but it's your money!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
thats exactly what I said Fairy, added posted they are £11.00. Quite a lot for tiny plants.
If the OP puto those in the ground they'll be lost.
