What is this shrub?

Can anyone tell me what this shrub is please? Has been growing in my inherited garden for the past 12 months and has never flowered. Thinking of cutting it down before it gets too large but not sure?

looks like a self seeded willow, perhaps Salix Caprea. but I might be very , very wrong.
Looks like it to me too Hosta. Someone else had one on here yesterday too.
They seed into gardens Kathryn, and you often notice them at this time of year - perhaps because they get to a big enough size and other plants are dying back a bit - so they stand out a bit more.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
