It was certainly interesting watching her go from normal to enthusiastic when I watched her filming at Gardeners world live.
Talking about Monty and Adam; I'd love if Adam was the next presenter. I thought he was weird at first but I soon grew to enjoy his personality and presenting
as much as I love Gardeners World I do find it a bit alienating as they're all such big gardens (mines tiny)
But I do like Beechgrove Garden, much more of the actual gardening side (trials of plants/veg/trees etc. how to take cuttings and divisions, how to look after plants, pruning, feeding etc.) and less of the 'look at this pretty garden' which is happening more and more on GW.
Each to their own, and we are lucky to have a choice of gardening programmes to watch. I am a Monty fan, Carol too, but it would be a little monotonous if the other presenters weren't thrown in during the 1 hour programme - I think the team have it just right at the moment. Perhaps we should have Nigel to give us a tour around Longmeadow one week, ha, ha!

Nooooooo, I think it's his smugness I don't like.
Really? I never thought of his as smug!
Surely Monty Don has the monopoly on smugness?
Oh enough now!

I have started watching The Instant Gardener Danny Clarke.
I find the "instantness" of a lot of garden programs irritating but Danny Clarke does know his plants and delivers good advice.
He is not quite so airy fairy as Monty Don.
'You must have some bread with it me duck!'
