I have a number of small echiums growing from seed in my garden from 2 mature plants. The 2 originals flowered well with little cause for worry but the new plants from seed seem to be suffering with some sort of root disease - any ideas? Also what's the best type of feed for echiums. Thanks.

Hi Iambriggan. Have you any photos of them ? My Echiums self seed everywhere and usually all the seedlings just grow without any feeding. Occasionally there might be an odd one which looks a bit feeble but I have never seen any root disease.
