Potato blight?
i have a suspicion that tge dreaded blight has hit my potatoes. This is the first time I've ever grown potatoes, so I'm not 100% sure that it is blight. I've done a little bit of searching on Google for pictures and descriptions of what it looks like. would anyone be able to say from the pictures if this is definitely blight or not?
Any help on this would be really appreciated.
Thank you

afraid its bad news its blight
best cut all the foliage off put in sacks and take to your local tip, do not put on compost heap.
would dig up a root and see what size they are and remember potato blight can spread to your tomato crop very quickly, even if they are in a greenhouse.
If it is only some leaves & not on the stems then you may get away with just taking off the affected leaves. In the past you could have then sprayed with fungicide, but there are none available to Amateurs for food crops now.
Thank you for the replies.
Unfortunately, it looks like it has spread to the stems.
If there is any crop at all, should I pull them straight away or leave them in the ground?
Dig them up now and you might be lucky enough to harvest them before the bight can travel all the way down to the tubers, in which case they will store OK.
