    No only the ones that flowered this year will die or look awful . Pull out the old straggly ones. They're finished. Leave the young healthy looking ones. They're next year's flowers.

    My foxglove which were seedlings last year did not flower but foliage still looking healthy. Do I leave that?  

  • Yes, any foxgloves with healthy looking foliage right now will flower next year.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
