I was in London last week and saw a small tree with white petunia like flowers.....can't upload pics.  Any ideas on what it is?

No Will be those flowers are too tubular and 'strong ' looking.   The petunia like flowers were much softer and more fragile.  The leaves of the trees were smaller and not as deep green.  Thanks

I've resurrected this post as I have this growing in the garden.........I think it may be a hibiscus as @Chrissy the gardener identified the trees above.  If it is a hibiscus, is it a tree?  I bought it as a 'stick' in one of the pound shops, I forget what it was called.
