I'm digging up my Zantedeschia and putting them in pots for over-wintering. Would you use fresh compost, or would that be too rich for them, given that they will soon be dormant?

If you are going to keep them dry fro the winter, the feed won't wash out. I tend to keep mine in pots anyway and repot or add feed in Spring.
Thanks fidgetbones. I'll pot up with fresh compost now, leave dry for Winter, and then give a liquid feed weekly next Spring. We got no flowers from some this year, very disappointing, and it's because I didn't realise they ideally need a feed during the growing season.
