Yarrow in lawn
Hello all, I've not really looked after my lawn for the last few years (that's what having 4 kids will do!). The lawn is now developing a yarrow problem, some parts are more yarrow than grass.
I really want to remove this but don't really know where to start. I'd rather not use chemicals if at all possible.
Any tips appreciated!

Just appreciate the green, I have grass, not lawn, with lots of interesting plants in it. The other plants keep green if the grass goes brown in a hot summer
In the sticks near Peterborough
The only real way to remove yarrow in lawn is to regularly rake your lawn and feed the lawn. Presence of yarrow usually indicates lack of nitrogen and compacted soil. There are numerous lawn feeds on the market. In the autumn time when the soil is more moist, spike the areas and work in some sand to help with drainage.
