Rudbeckia imposter
in Plants
Hi
can anyone identify this plant please? At first glance you will say a Rudbeckia but I have Rudbeckia & it has completely different stems & leaves. I have a number of them that have suddenly appeared this year in both front & back garden. Leaves are paler & softer than Rudbeckia & stems are quite hairy & soft. Some of the flowers on the same plant resemble small sun flowers & others are just like Rudbeckia.

? Heliopsis
It looks like the annual Rudbeckia Denver Daisy that I grew last year.
I think they're all rudbeckias but different ones
In the sticks near Peterborough
The large daisy-related species originally from the American praires are all closely related so it's always difficult to say. I'll go with nut's reply.

They look like the Rudbeckia I grew from seed this year that came in the GW magazine. Gloriosa Daisies'
I hope this helps.
