I saw this shrub yesterday when I was out for a walk and I wondered if anyone would be able to tell me what it is please.
I was thinking maybe a Fatsia

no, not Fatsia. something ericaceous I think.
In the sticks near Peterborough
Looks like Pittosporum tobira.
The outer edges of the leaves are curled under just a little.
