Cordyline Australis 'Cabbage Palm'

Hi
I live in Sheffield and would like to buy a cabbage palm. All the places online seem to be down south and delivery is quite expensive. Can anyone advise if there are any centres selling the palm around Yorkshire? If anyone has any tips on looking after the palm that would be really useful.

Most garden centres sell them ; green forms , purplish forms and variegated . Dead easy to grow , just plant in fairly sunny position and keep moist for the first year or so .

Every garden centre... Yes. But pricing will differ wildly as will quality.

How sadly true that is ; as with a lot of GCs , best to buy newly arrived stock if possible as the majority of staff they employ don't seem to have a clue .
Plants tend to deteriorate very rapidly .
