My penstemons are rooting at last,  took over a fortnight to show anything.

My clematis cuttings, distinctly poorly.  I'll have to try again!

So far more growth on the top of the speedwell than the bottoms. White, pink and purple on the go. I find shot glasses in the bathroom is the easiest propagation method. Cats get into anything that isn't put well out of reach.
The one on the bottom fell off a bouquet cutting. Stinky plant with white flowers-gave the bouquet away, so no picture for reference. Guaranteed to root though as it's a take it or leave it ;)
And of course, without saying.....Creeping Jenny will never let you down.

@HouseFinch. Do you find they root with all that green on the top?
i always strip the stem of leaves before putting them in the water otherwise it goes bad and smelly.

@Lyn The green on the top is a bad sign. First time rooting veronica. I have just packed them from house to house in planters. Need to divide them this fall, but I love them so much I thought I would try to grow some more for other locations. In my experience, if it is trying to flower, it won't make it. I had luck with sage this spring by cutting off the new growth, then rooting the cutting's cuttings. I think I will try that and a new batch tomorrow. It was a week ago that I started them, when Monty mentioned on Gardener's World last week about starting cuttings. It's a case of nothing to lose, as it is with any cuttings I suppose.

@Lyn if there is any turbidity in the water, I change it out. All I have used (with success) is the water from our refillable grocery store bottles. Our city water has too many chemicals to root anything, though I do mess up from time to time and top up the glasses with it :#

I use rain water for cuttings.  But then there’s always a plentiful supply where I live, although not much left now😱

I recommend watercress if you like eating it. Only took 4- 5 weeks from sticking a bit in the glass to a decent cut and come again crop.

It’s a good idea to throw a whole bag of watercress into your pond if you have blanket weed or green water, grows very quickly.
